Survey Analysis
We created a survey to gain a general knowledge of the Victoria's Secret demographic and what they think of the brand. Asking questions regarding; age, clothes size, where individuals buy underwear, importance of comfort, if people are affected by the lack of diversity within the Victoria's Secret brand and if this affects their buying habits.
The survey highlighted that consumers are not fully absorbed into the brand, as the majority of individuals said they would be 'very unlikely' to watch the VS fashion show and that they believe that the VS Angels are bad role models due to their lack of diversity shown. However, the surprising discovery was that, the majority of individuals although my not agree with the lack of diversity with transgender and plus-size models, this does not deter them from purchasing from the store.
Emphasising that the issue with Victoria's Secret's sales may not actually be their lack of diversity which on the surface seems to be the key issue. The majority of respondents are students either with or without part-time jobs so there is a key issue surrounding disposable income with this target market. Suggesting that maybe VS should focus on the pricing of products as well as changing the marketing campaigns.urveymonkey.co.uk/r/FHML5BDhttps://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FHML5BD
